Ray Corson

A native of central Maine, I grew up in the rural community of Athens and lived there with my wife, Karen, until we became “empty nesters” when we downsized our home and moved to Skowhegan.

I have enjoyed woodworking for many years being largely self-taught and had the opportunity to hone my skills when working with a builder on our own home construction projects.

My frame-making business began with 8X10 frames and now includes a wide variety of sizes, materials, and finishes.  While frame-making is at the heart of what I do, I also create and sell trivets and cutting boards, cribbage boards, desk caddies, phone stands among other things. My wife and I run our Etsy shop and sell in craft shops in Maine.
