I handcraft jewelry with Fine Silver Precious Metal Clay. The process for making the jewelry is as follows: rolling the clay to a certain thickness, deciding on the texture of pattern, then deciding on the shape and size. The jewelry is dried in a dehydrator, and once dried, the pieces are filed to smooth the edges. The they are fired in a kiln at 1600 degree F for two hours.  After firing is completed, the pieces are put in a tumbler and tumbled for two hours.  Patina is added to enhance the details of the pattern and then they go through a polishing process.  The ear wires  added to earrings are .925% Silver.
